General
This Championship Series will be run under all the basic rules and regulations governing official motorsport events in South Africa in addition to the Rules listed under "Minimoto 2010 Rules". Where not specifically mentioned in these rules, Supplementary Regulations or Final Instructions, for each event, it is deemed forbidden.
Each event will be controlled by a Clerk of the Course, as appointed by the Organisers. The Clerk of the Course has full authority on the day, to penalise, exclude Competitors. However should anyone be aggrieved by any decision, they have the right to Protest (see protest section).

Events
All races will generally be held on Saturdays at various circuits in and around the Gauteng region. A limited number of away event(s) may also be included at the discretion of the organisers and will count towards the championship points. Should a race or races, heat or heats be cancelled or Red Flagged, the total scores for the series shall be calculated on the basis of races/heats held. In the event of a Red Flag for a heat, should 50% plus one lap, of the heat be completed, then it shall count as a full race, and the finishing order will be calculated from the previous lap, (before the Red Flag was implemented).

Should less than 50% plus one lap have been completed, then that race will be rerun at the end of the day, time permitting, at the discretion of the Race Directors.

Technical Requirements
In addition to the class specific rules as laid out, the following general rules shall apply to all classes unless otherwise stipulated.

  • All fairings, front and rear mudguards and bodywork must be in place and must appear to be as originally produced by the manufacturer, but may be replaced with exact cosmetic duplicates of the original parts but constructed of a different material.
  • Competitors may only use fuel that adheres to GCR 240 of the MSA general competition rules handbook. (Any pump fuel).
  • Rain tires – any rain tire will be allowed, in any class of racing


Rider Liability
Participants take part in events at their own risk. Upon the submission of their entry, whether electronically or in writing, applicants and their riders declare their wavering of claims for damages of any kind which occur in the context of the event against:

  • The organisers of the MiniMoto SA 2010 corporate league.
  • Authorities, racing services and all other persons associated with the organisation of the events.
  • The road constructions companies, should any damage occur as a result of track characteristics.
  • All other participants (teams and riders), their assistants, the owners or keepers of other vehicles.
  • The owners/promoters of venues at which the events are held
