MiniMoto racing is one of the cheapest forms of motor sport that you can get involved in. You have a range of bikes to select from starting from the cheaper entry level Chinese bikes all the way up to the more expensive European models.
No matter what your bike choice, as a general rule, once you have gone out and bought your safety gear and bike, you’re pretty much done with the big expenses for the year. There’s no need to buy a set of race tyres per event, in fact, one set lasts most riders the entire year. No expensive suspension setups to worry about, it’s all in the tyre pressure. Maintaining the 2-stroke motors is cheap and something that can be done at home with little effort – but if working on the bike is not your strong point, then Scalemoto offer full workshop facilities to do this for you.
As far as excitement goes, it’s difficult to beat the thrill of riding a pocket bike around a world class go-kart circuit at speeds exceeding 90kph when only 50cm off the ground!
