It’s been a while since I have had time to write anything, my backup drive crashed (while I was re-installing my PC) and I lost everything, and I mean EVERYTHING.  So as you can imagine, my energy has been focused else ware for the last while.

That doesn’t mean that I didn’t find some time to sit down and watch round 1 of the WSBK championship at Phillip Island.  I love watching WSBK and it seems like there’s a whole bunch of new talent around this year, gonna be a great season.

But sitting there I couldn’t help getting totally amped for Bloem.  I’ve ridden there once before but it was so long ago I can hardly remember (besides that my brain wasn’t functioning that well after Lloyd and myself came together in a spectacular crash early on in the day). Going to a new track and having 48 hours to pull it all together really makes for a spectacular weekend, for competitors and spectators – it’s like the pressure is on!

I see the entry list is not looking so hot at the moment, but this year there’s no discard and the guys that don’t go are going to miss out in more ways that one.  And for the rest of you, lets get ready for a brilliant weekend of pocket bike racing.  It’s a good thing that the Monday is a public holiday, I think we’re gonna need it!!!!  See you in Bloem.
